Banff Trail Community has a family babysitting co-op. It was created by a group of parents several years ago and continues to attract families in Banff Trail and nearby surrounding areas.
The main purposes of the cooperative include exchanging babysitting and creating social opportunities for families in Banff Trail and the surrounding communities. Monthly meetings for parents help everyone to get to know each other. The co-op also schedules occasional play dates and encourages members to attend family BTCA events as an opportunity to socialize with families both in the community and the cooperative.
Families who are interested in joining the Banff Trail Family Babysitting Cooperative (BTFBC) can review the BTFBC Handbook for a full description of the application process, safety and security policies and processes and well as the sitting process.
