Hockey and Skating
During the winter months, BTCA maintains an outdoor rink next to our community hall. The rink is entirely volunteer run and we always welcome offers of assistance to help put in the ice and maintain the rink through the season. Please contact Lyall at 403 284-3622 to help.
Banff Trail residents can join Westwood Hockey. Another exciting season is underway with hundreds of players and volunteer coaches and organizers. For 2010-2011, there are 33 teams and 582 players from Timbits to Junior C. Westwood Hockey Calgary is also on Facebook.
Westwood Hockey is a partnership between 3 community associations, and area communities register through one of the three.
Brentwood: Includes Brentwood and Edgemont

Soccer
Banff Trail organizes a spring league for young children.
Registration for 2011 occurs on Monday, March 7 from 7 – 9 pm and Saturday, March 12 from 9 am – noon.
Registration fee is $75 per child for Banff Trail Community Members. Memberships can be purchased at registration for $15 per annual family membership. Email Thalia Aspeslet for more information.
Fee includes uniform, a mid-season Picture Day/BBQ and Super Soccer Saturday at the end of the season.
